following resolutions we approved at our annual precinct meeting on
March 8, 2011, have also be approved at the County level, and will
probably go on to pass at District level. The first two were written by
Pct 36 Democrats. RESOLUTION on Support for Workers Right to Collective Bargaining RESOLUTION in Support of Acceptance of the Matricula Consular ID other Resolutions we unanimously approved: RESOLUTION Opposing [requiring a] Voter Photo ID [in North Carolina]. RESOLUTION Opposing the Death Penalty in NC RESOLUTION on Corporate Control: demands changes in national and state laws to counteract the Citizens' United decision, and to limit the ability of corporations to control elections. RESOLUTION on Billboard Zoning Laws: recent news reports say that the electronic billboard proponents are lobbying the NC Legislature to take billboard zoning power away from localities. |
